Little Hayfield
in the Parish of Hayfield - High Peak - Derbyshire

The hamlet of Little Hayfield can be found nestling
in a small valley running from Clough Mill on the left to Park
Hall Wood on the right. The main A624 Glossop - Buxton road runs
in front of the 'Red Bungalow' seen on the right. It follows the
line of the trees then can be seen climbing the distant hill side
and going through a pass over to Glossop (directly above Clough
Mill in the photo) The farm far centre beyond the trees is Spray
House Farm where each year Hayfield Sheepdog Trials and Country
Show is held. The fields ctr foreground are known as 'Middle Fields'
and there is a pleasant way marked circular walk from Hayfield
Village via the 'Giggle Gaggle' to Little Hayfield, returning
through the Middle Fields.
